Restroom Reminder

Picture
It is recommended that a student wash his/her hands frequently throughout the day.
Included within the 4 minute classroom transition is time to use the restroom. Please keep in mind that asking for a pass to the restroom during class implies an emergency situation.
All students are required to sign out (student ID card required) if given permission to use the restroom during class.  The sign out log is monitored daily.

Getting Ready For Middle School

Always keep up with your WEBSITE and notes.

It takes time to organize your notes - digital or written notes.  Expect it!  Keeping organized may not seem as important as doing homework, but it pays off.   What you really want to avoid is to put off maintaining a complete set of notes.  The longer you wait, the harder it gets to make up the notes you missed, or the assignments you neglected, or the time it takes to organize your work.

UPDATE YOUR STUDY SKILLS WEBSITE (6th grade) OR DIGITAL PORTFOLIO (8th grade) daily.  Part of Study Skills and the Computer Science class expectation is to maintain a current page in Computer Science,  Math, Science, and English Language Arts.  Hyperlink (from your Google Drive) various assignments and papers that you're proud of.  Add other content that is appropriate to the subject.

REVIEW YOUR NOTES AND ASSIGNMENTS daily.  For the most part, you will be taking your notes on your assigned desktop computer and using a Google application to access them.

Don't procrastinate.   Always keep up with your notes, projects, and assignments.
